Get some to go!I suspect the reason that the Austin Area, Luling and Lockhart gets such high marks is they cook with post oak and not live oak. “In true Texas-style” the cooks at The Big Bib slow cook their meats with mesquite and aged oak woods for 14 hours every day. I have eaten at 2M and it is the best in San Antonio, and Texas Monthly also agrees. So. As for the Big Bib Too Event Center, the venue hosts nationally known jazz artists and welcomes guests to enjoy some tunes and their full bar.Garcia’s is not exactly traditional BBQ. The outdoor seating is a great spot to enjoy their scrumptious food. Mesquite Shack BBQ: Vincent Cervantes makes some of the best brisket, ribs and pulled pork in San Antonio. Arrive early and be prepared to wait in line. Damn.
