Kerrville Schreiner Park 517 acres located on Guadalupe River with 7 miles of hiking and biking trails, basketball and sand volleyball courts, fishing pier, boat ramp, BBQ pits, playground, butterfly garden, restrooms, overnight camping, rental facilities (23 mini cabins, Park Cabin, Ranch House, Recreation Hall, Dining Hall). The facility even offers guests 23 mini-cabins that are available to rent on both sides of Kerrville-Schreiner Park, and are located near restroom facilities with flush toilets and hot showers. 23 Mini Cabins are available to rent throughout the Hill and River Sides of the park. A weekend just isn't long enough!

This area was not crowded at all, and unlike places closer to the more touristy spots, it was very family oriented. Instead of staying in a hotel, we rented a mini-cabin for one night at the park. The trails are all nice to hike and we also enjoy paddling in the river. Simple, easy, and fully insured. !Used to be a Texas State park. Staff was helpful and genuinely pleased to have visitors.
The City of Kerrville parks and Recreation Department would like to invite all ghosts, goblins, and creatures of the night to join us on Halloween for Family Fright Night on Friday, October 31st, for an evening of safe and traditional family fun in Kerrville-Schreiner Park. Across the highway is the portion on the river with kayak and canoe rentals with great water to paddle in. Between the playground, basketball court, and sand volleyball, there’s plenty of fun outdoor activities for campers of all ages. Tents are not allowed at cabins or cottages.

Vacation rentals available for short and long term stay on Vrbo. Renovated restrooms are available throughout the park.Small travel trailers and campervans can usually sleep 2-4 people comfortably.

Ranch House- Three bedroom, two bath; sleeps eight people fully furnished with kitchen, fire grill, fire pit and laundry facilities.

We love the Deerfield Loop which is the full hookup section not on the water side.

Park was nice, small fee for a day pass.
